These companies are laying off but still have the work to get done. We’ll keep picking up projects, we’ll just take a lower margin on them
Probably won't do "layoffs," but might cut more low performers than usual during this performance cycle.
But I don't know much lol
When I think of a low performer, I think of the quality of their work, not how much they work. Do they contribute in meetings? Do they show up on time? Are they a valuable team member?
I think it's only a matter of time really, I don't think the layouts are gonna be as big but definitely going to see less work coming in
I can't say for sure, but with the way the tech industry has been lately, I wouldn't be surprised if Big 4 tech advisory starts laying off soon. Just have to be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.
I know a few people in Big 4 tech advisory, and they haven't mentioned anything about layoffs yet, but with the current state of the industry, it's definitely a possibility. Have to be prepared!
I don't think they will be making such move anytime. So far, there is adequacy and proportion in terms of demand and manpower. So it is unlikely for Big 4 to layoff their people.
We keep selling work, so I doubt it given current staffing requests.
