Working at a place now where they drink like it’s the 80s. Start at lunch, go all day and night I’ve been sober a long time so I’m fine w it all. I’m just surprised people still do this.

I've never smoked or drank in my life and I joined this bowl out of curiosity... Definitely a different crowd than what I was expecting.

I’m back to being dry and high. I’m having a challenge getting off pot again. I haven’t had any alcohol in a few 24 hours but I started on pot for stomach pain and now I cannot stop.

100 days today.
Funny thing is, I’ve barely had a craving this time. I think going through a lot of personal stuff and focusing on the steps/progress and focusing on my “ism” not booze has helped.

It’s really hard for me to try to cope with ppl at work by letting go, turning it over and accepting when I feel they are selfish, aggressive ppl who’ll see my actions as weak or not assertive.

48 days sober. The double edge sword of the weekend. I went to a meeting, for ready for Easter,cooked dinner and there are still three more hrs in Saturday. Restless!

Tonight I shared at a meeting about the shit day I had — I don’t think I’m gelling with the ppl running my office. Then I spent an hour listening to ppl with actual problems. Felt guilt and relief

I have a client who just can’t get over the fact that I don’t drink. We were recently out to dinner so I sneaked and got a mock tail just so he’d leave me alone. That was annoying

the deal I made myself was- If I ever wake up in the morning and regret not drinking the night before, I can reconsider sobriety.
