My post is for a lot of folks here who complain about managers not budging to negotiations and not offering package ,what you are expecting.I have one thing to say, there are lot of ibm employees who moved to kyndryl. Inspite of lot of contributions they are earning meagre salary. Now do you expect these people to hire you for more package most of time the package you are demanding is more than what these managers draw. So pls do not look at kyndryl as any other startup.Thanks.

Haven't done UX but I've been both in house and pharma agency designer.
In-house pros:
timelines are way chiller, work life balance is better, you can talk directly to the "client" without having to jump thru a ton of hoops. Sometimes no timesheets!
In-house cons:
At least the places I worked, creative isn't taken very seriously. 1 place always reminded us we're seen as a "cost center". Also can be a con you're dealing directly with the "clients" - no buffer of a CS person getting them to figure out wtf they actually want. Less structure. Not the same awards and ambition as agency.
this seems accurate. but if you ever have kids... in house is where its at and where i am trying to be now
I WFH and back to office only twice a month.
