Thoughts on leaving a commercial AE role from Salesforce to a smaller company (Snowflake/MongoDB/Databricks etc). I have consistently been 150%+ of OTE at SFDC but know for a fact my comp is way under the market. Would be moving into an EAE role and almost doubling base and OTE. 1. Always ask dedicated budget for the job before you tell your expectations.

2. Always have atleast 2 weeks of gap before you join any company. You might not understand significance of that but just have a gap.

Went through the loop and got an offer but it was below expectations. During the recruiting process I was told it was a sr manager position, but when the offer was extended it was for a manger. I have a competing offer that came in after I already accepted the Amazon offer and now I have no idea what to do. The other offer is stronger but… I mean it’s Amazon.
