What are the best finance conferences in the US?
Hello everyone! I recently pivoted from working in advertising to working at an early-stage fintech startup. I'm looking to speak with business finance leaders who manage corporate cash and credit lines for their companies to learn more about your tools and your approach to cash management. I'll buy you lunch/coffee for your time.
If interested shoot me an email me at kathryn@crescent.app! And thank you!!
JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

CFA yes, CAIA no.
Yeah, it's not that CAIA is terrible, but it's very niche while the CFA is universally recognized.
Personally I found it useful. Like you I didn’t have an academic background in finance but ended up in FS consulting. It’s a good foundation to have (although recognising it is based towards investment especially in level 3). Have the three letters help me in any concrete way? Not sure, but can’t hurt.
Both are only useful in gaining knowledge. When I hire someone I really don't care if they have either.
