Have an interview with IQVIA for their data registry division for IT PM role. Had already met with hiring manager and meeting with team. Looking for additional insights /pay / culture .
What is IQVIA like in the NYC consulting team (projects, comp, culture)? Heard from colleagues that turnover can be high but is this true?
Everyone says the culture at IQVIA is bad? What does that mean? Concrete examples? Poor collaboration?
Any insights on Iqvia and their culture, project types, comparative pay scale? Would be looking to relocate to their Raleigh office. Thanks!
Anyone at IQVIA? Or have any insight into their work culture and compensation range for a senior consultant or a consultant role? Based in New England area
IQVIA fishes, how do you like the culture and work you’re doing at IQVIA? Any ex-Big4 consultants there who can talk about leadership/culture, type of projects, compensation and the interview process?
How eerie was it to pack up your classroom this year? It was like a memorial with all the students' work everywhere, finished and unfinished, unfulfilled intentions, as quiet as a tomb. #covidpoetry
Any experienced hires out there? Constantly feeling like the last kid picked for the kickball team.
The Home Office releases on the new PBS immigration policy in the UK mention removal of cooling off period for shifting from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General visa. Does anyone know if this is only for new Tier 2 ICT visa folks or would this applying to existing Tier 2 visa holders too?
Let’s pretend we’re holding companies. I’ll start: No, we can’t hire an extra writer even though you’re clocking 70+ hours a week. BTW, our contract with your client caps billable hours per employee because they know we don’t pay overtime. Here’s a non-billable code you should start using for the rest of the year.
Anyone else think Points Guy is hot 😍
Raise % for a second year senior in FDD?
Is online MBA just as good as regular MBA?
Starting full-time @ MBB this month. I’m really interested in recruiting growth equity (GE) at some point. I’m pretty familiar with PE recruiting but not sure how growth differs. Anyone have perspective on any of the following: 1- Does GE recruit on cycles? If so what is the typical timing? 2- Are modeling tests standard as part of the interview process? 3- How are consultants perceived in the industry? 4- Do large GE firms utilize headhunters? 5- Do large GE firms have operating roles?
How does the holiday weekend impact your quota? Still the same? It's still the same for me, which I feel is unfair.
Applying to T15 in R2. Currently have a 700 GMAT (43Q, 41V) after taking once. Even if I raise my quant to 47, which would be impressive for me, I’ll still be at a 700 (possibly 710). 3.6 undergrad GPA. Worth retaking? Or just focus on the rest of my applications?
Is it wrong to not want a promotion? Ive been told I’m on track for one soon but I still have sooo much to learn at this level and I don’t feel ready to move up. I am, in fact, terrified of the next step and the responsibilities that come with it. Has anyone turned down a promotion and regretted it? Been glad about it?
Hi Is there anyone here looking to hire a Strategy consultant? I've got previous experience across public and private sector and I'm now looking for a new challenge with one of the top consulting firms in the UK. Any help would be much appreciated.
Anyone take courses/get a degree from Harvard Extension School? Experience? Was it worth it? Are you also able to build a network? Realize it’s not like an MBA, but that doesn’t fit my life now .
I hope every day that the assholes that fired me for bullshit reasons (other than my salary was too high and they were awful managers and worse people) would perish in flames.
It really bothers me that I'll never have the confidence men do, and I think this will impact my career. Things like self-promotion to the right people, being highly confident in my abilities (rather than focusing on risks and mitigations), and just naturally walking into every room like I belong. I know these are not only qualities of men and I can develop them too. I'm just frustrated & venting because it feels like I'm trying so hard just to achieve the same goals. Anyone relate? Any wisdom?
