I drive past the office quite often. It looks quite nice.

Consulting folks are based in NYC, Boston, and SF. The RTP office is for the CRO folks (formerly Quintiles).

With all the acquisitions that have taken place, it really varies by department. Certain departments used to be small companies before being acquired, but have managed to keep some of their autonomy from the rest of the organization.

What level are you looking at? Raleigh is mostly CRO. I worked at their nyc consulting office for 2 yrs.

(Also, for context - I'm one of the 4 SM's on this engagement (it's a large client and we have a 10+ team)). Continued in comments below...

Hi ladies - I’m 29, my husband & I are planning to start TTC in a few months. I’ve been diagnosed by pcos when I was 17 and I’ve been on birth control ever since due to irregular periods. Wondering if anyone’s had a similar situation or has an insights on getting pregnant with irregular periods or pcos? How long in advance did you quit birth control?

Maybe off-topic, but I’ve got a question related to taxes and withholding. 2020 was the first year that both me and my wife made full salaries in our high-paying jobs (she’s a pharmacist, I’m in consulting). We don’t do anything out of the ordinary to reduce our taxes, we just put ~ 6% each towards our 401k’s. No house or kids so our other deductions are limited. Just started doing taxes and got a shock that we owe big. Any others in this situation? Do you just withhold a ton extra on W4?
