Anyone have a primary care physician they like in NY? Ideally one who integrates holistic medicine as well as western medicine? Bonus points if they’re on Cigna or take insurance.

How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. Some of us have reached out to HR and we’re told to discuss it with the regional director, but the regional director says we’d have to come in early or leave late to block out a lunch break. My commute is an hour each way, so I’d prefer not to make my day any longer. Advice?

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. Have you ever dealt with a colleague that believes in extremely (in my opinion) outdated or even just false claims and treats them as scientific facts? I work with several older men but one of them practices "provocative therapy" as in you just play the devil's advocate with your patient and side with the negative half of their thinking. In theory I could see this working situationally, but as a whole philosophy regardless of the patient's issue I think it's ridiculous.

Thoughts on the 2,000 dollar stimulus proposal? I personally think it’s not needed. Theoretically if you are getting full unemployment plus this 2000 a month you are making close to a 70-80k salary. Some people might roughly double their salary that they had when they were working. In addition, people like me (under 130k AGI) would qualify and I always could use money but it’s not needed.
