Hi all, healthcare question here. If premiums are equal and my employer is funding my deductible under HDHP up to the deductively under the PPO plan being offered, then which plan is preferable and why? I read all the materials about both plans but I’m still not really sure which one is better for me - it seems like the difference comes down to co-pays and the HSA. Any advice or insight is welcome.

Mental Health, inherited or choice? I am finding myself struggling with processing that ADD, Depression, or Bipolar is a chemical imbalance in the brain vs. behavioral therapy. The best analogy given to me is you would treat diabetics with insulin so why not consider prescriptions to help mental health. 2020 has thrown more at me than I’m able to handle. Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?
