HELLL NO
obviously you don’t owe anyone anything lol
I promise you they do not owe you loyalty. Work is a transaction, don’t get all sentimental with loyalty. Companies will always do what’s best for their interest, you’re responsible for what’s best for you! Take the leap and go!
Take the money and don’t look back
I’m in the exact same situation. Headhunter is offering double what I make now. Going to talk to my family and friends to weigh options. I also feel a sense of loyalty to my firm since they were my only offer out of school and they’ve been good to me so far. In the grand scheme of things, picking between two great offers is more of a blessing than a curse so stay positive!
Lmao is this a real question
Lol no. You’ll learn this lesson at some point, teams / partners / consultancies owe you no loyalty and you don’t owe any in return.
I’m quite young and I’ve just left my previous firm for double at a way better firm - take the jump now or you’ll never leave. Remember, you’re literally replaceable and your team will always find another you ! Keep good relationships / rapport with them as it’ll potentially come handy in the future but for now, make the move before you get sucked into shitty company culture of being there ur whole life with bad pay 😭 they will even agree that moving is a good thing being young and slowly people will start following you and wanting to leave too. PM me if you want to talk about this more :)
