People throw around packages of 1 Crore, when about half, or even more than that, is blocked in the RSUs. These stock prices go up and down (more down recently) and the promised bonus might never arrive.

None of what you have post is making actually sense. For example, you are mentioning that the Oracle director makes around monthly ₹3,40,000, whereas his total gross CTC is mentioned as three crore something. So are you trying to tell me that the Oracle director post tax is earning around 41 lakh rupees annually and rest of the whole amount is in his stock options and bonus. Are you trying to include the bonus as well, it is not totally convincing to me that more than 70% of the amount will be locked up in RSU—doesn’t make sense.
