A job I know I’m the perfect fit for was posted online a few days ago. Is it overly aggressive to reach out to the recruiter and/or the person I would reporting to expressing my interest in the role?

If I'm applying to a firm as a second year and the application requires a writing sample, would it be better to attach a brief I wrote in law school, or a brief written during my limited practice, which was revised by both a senior associate and shareholder?

I have been a strategy and planning associate for a year and a half (first job out of college), I found that I'm not really cut out for this sector of advertising and would like to get more into the creative area. I've applied to countless copywriting jobs but only get rejections. Does anyone have any advice? Are there other areas I should be looking? It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
