Want to do consulting long term but move to a firm that gives larger variable compensation. What are some of the best boutique shops to work for that offer a good bonus structure? I know of A&M and HL. Any others?

I recently interviewed for a Snr Sales Strategy & Insights Mgr role at Cisco. IMO, this is the most unprofessional process I v bn in. The process took 4+ months. Hiring mgr put role on hold for 3 wks. Had to push recruiter/mgr for feedback after every interview 1 month gaps. All my interviewers (ex MBB) gave excellent feedback & recruiter. After my last push 1 month after 3rd intv, was told the role had been filled. IMO, the hiring mgr doesnt want me cos I am black. Hence the intentional delay.

I was then called by a recruiter for another company, in which they made me a better offer for a Generalist and I want to take this one. What do I do? Is it okay to feel anxious when leaving hometown for the first time?
All sorts of thoughts rushing as if I make 12 LPA in hometown(less job security) and got an offer of 24 LPA away, will it be a profitable deal. As when one moves out, he also need to think about rent food other expenses.

At one side, there is a desire to grow career and explore other technical landscapes and on other side emotional attachment to hometown and family. I am 5.6 YOE person who spent all his life in m hometown.
