Do you! But secure the second offer before offloading the first.

Def not gonna make the jump until I get offer 2

You have until you start the job from offer #1. You have to do what’s best for you and yours and your career.

like

Just blame it on the “Great Resignation” as you jump to offer 2.

smart

Have you signed a contract?

USA so everything is at-will. No obligations on either end and yea it's kinda shitty, I like offer 1s team and the recruiter was nice but yea at the end of the day...

If offer 1 matched offer 2 from a pay perspective, would you stay with offer 1? Ie: how much do the benefits and type of work matter compared to pay?

do it

FWIW I got the other offer, told the first offer I'm rescinding because I can get more money at x and I feel great. Very excited to start working with the folks who will throw a lot of money and perks at me. What a wild concept!

Where do you work, and what educational benefits does your employer provide? Currently working full time and taking some classes toward my master’s.
