Just arrive and start working. They onboarded you. We tired of being ghosted and sending out CVs
🤔 Hey there Art Director…catching up on my morning reading, I spotted this article related to your circumstance: https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2022/06/23/why-peoples-job-offers-are-getting-rescinded-days-before-they-start.html
Thank you - if I’m interpreting correctly- it seems that a contract is only a contract if it’s signed by both parties. Sending a contract to a candidate is a formal offer but it’s not an obligation unless or until it is signed by both parties… implication might be that you don’t resign until or unless the contract is signed…

Plot twist. This company is waiting for this person to show up.

Brilliant!
Sounds like Huge. 🤔
They did this twice to me. I used to get kill fees, now they don't know how to set up payroll or explain what their parameters are for vendors if asked.

I’d just show up with my papers and ask where my desk is.
And then use said desk to either email HR to have a constructive chat about better onboarding OR hunt for a better fit and mark that place as freelance.
You for sure should just show up. If you were onboarded, you’re an employee until termination
Please name and shame so I don’t ever work for them.

Sorry, that’s not how it’s supposed to be. No explanation? How long has it been since last communication?
I found something on Google about this… scroll below
Now we all want to know who this is
what country? in some countries, companies are legally bound once you sign their contract. they can't revoke a signed contract unless it's for egregious reasons like you put something racist on linkedin, which im going to take a shot in the dark here and assume you didn't
look into that; and as others have said, worst case scenario, show up on your expected start date
Name and shame

This still confuses me. If were onboarded (and have documents) it means you are now part of a company.
And if you mean offer, they can’t withdraw an accepted (written) offer unless there is a conditional (i.g. Background check and VISA approvals).
What do you mean by ghosted?
Ah gotcha AD3
