If the issue is only with title and you’re happy with your salary, then enjoy the lower expectations/responsibility, and learn what it actually means to be a manager at the new firm. Let your leadership know what you want early and ask what you need to show.

Yeah, this is the route that I think I’ll end up taking. Kind of sucks though especially since I have the quals for manager and it would’ve been nice to have that title going in.
Likely too late now. You can certainly try to insist, but be prepared to not accept or have the offer anymore.

If you have started, you’re in a tough position. Speak to your Career Counsellor and align your leadership on clear roadmap to Manager. However, expect to wait 18 months- 2 years
Nope. You can decline the offer. Is the comp what you wanted? If so, title means nothing.
