Anyone here with experience as a Product Manager? I’ve close to decade of consumer lending experience including Sales/Advisory, Supervisor and Underwriting. I have have been looking to pivot into a more impactful role this year. I am due for an interview for a Product Manager next week. The company ticks all my boxes but the job description a bit vague. I will be grateful if anybody willing to share what the day role looks like and what I need to look out for in an interview. Thanks. Cheers.

Beginning to consider going in house (4th, corp) - I really haven’t thought about what I want, partly because I’m not sure what’s out there/attainable. Is it a bad idea to start by applying to a couple positions that interest me and seeing where that gets me? I’ll of course prep for the interviews but am afraid to burn potential bridges if I ultimately decline because I’m still figuring things out.

A unit in TCS is trying to retain me saying if they revise the ctc (from their unit bugedt) and provide an Indonesian onsite opportunity, will you revoke your papers. Is it worth taking this chance? The team is very small of just 10 people and I am not sure how much will they provide for onsite. Pls advice as not a single question was asked in the interview apart from expectations.

Was notified that I’m an alternate for Bain AC first rounds. Anyone from Bain have an idea of how often alternates end up getting the first round? Anything I can do at this point?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. For references, I would like to use my coworkers but I also don’t want to bring up the fact that I’m applying to other places. hi guys! i wanted to ask for advice if anyone can help. currently i’m a scientist at a CRO and i’m doing work that is at least a title or two above mine. feels like im overworked and underpaid. i keep getting rejected to positions i feel like i can fill due to my years of experience. i technically only have been working since may 2020. but i have learned so much so quickly, im already doing method development/discovery work. should i settle for a job title below my current in pharma?
