Alright, what on earth do you do when you have looked everywhere in your area for a job and every remote job for months on end hoping that the beginning of January would change things and literally nothing new is posted? I have never come across this before where I've applied for every open position I'm qualified and have nothing left. I guess I was magically hoping that today more would come in and I see nothing. Should I start looking at lower positions??

I’m an application analyst in the midwest for a small CAH. I was hired into this position at $27.15/hr and have now worked here for a year. I’m curious how my salary compares with others working in the midwest. Background: I’ve been in my position for 1 yr. I have 20 yrs military experience, bachelors in Business. I took an entry level $15/hour job to get my foot in the door. I’m actively looking for a promotion. But 44 miles plus gas & business casual clothing on $15/hour is killing me.

I've been interviewing extensively with 4 companies, and I believe 2 are getting ready to send offers. If I receive more than 1 offer - how do I choose? Working in a large health system as a quality professional WFH. I rarely see anyone else on my team, and when I do present findings I see no changes happening. Maybe they’re happening and I just don’t have a role in that oversight but the motivation to keep going is whittling down to nothing.
