Inexperienced here if you are promoted do you have any leverage to determine your salary or do you usually get just whatever they offer right off the bat
What happens if I simply don’t payback the bonus clawback after leaving the firm? Will EY really take me to court/collections over $5K?
Seeing S& “Experienced Associate” job posting on LinkedIn with salary estimate of 59k-87k. How off is LinkedIn? What could one reasonably expect? 2YOE at ACN Strat, expecting promo to Consultant in a few weeks
Fishes need advice, I'm a M3 and my Partners have repeatedly told me that I am the strongest candidate for promotion this year, they haven't said it for sure though. I got contacted by Deloitte Digital, and I am being offered a Senior Manager role with a slight bigger pay when compared to my estimated salary after promotion (10k per year). Is it worth changing? what are your thoughts?
What do you think is a reasonable comp package for an Amazon L5 position in a MCOL city?
Hi European 🐠 My company is currently looking for IT architects and tech consultants (any level). We’re a boutique with a amazing team culture and really very interesting projects, great learning opportunities (aka we don’t get hired to take over tasks no one wants to do, we get hired to make a difference) + above average comp. Relocation is not necessary, as long as you’re in CET time zone and live close to an airport. DM me for more information! Cheers

Can anyone explain the bonus cycle at BCG? It sounds like bonuses are given annually at the end of the year, so if you start in July do you receive a pro-rated bonus that year or do you wait until the first bonus period after completing a year of work?
Hey Londoners! Currently considering an offer at EY Parthenon at a Senior Executive level - does anyone have any salary insights they can share? Coming from Toronto I understand the ranges differ quite significantly
How have you guys celebrated career milestones? I told myself when I made manager, I'd finally treat myself and buy my first "big girl" bag. I feel like a big baby, but when I saw comp numbers this year, I cried. I haven't been in the mood to celebrate, but now trying to think of alternatives that might be easier on the wallet.

Thoughts on switching consulting firms during this time...? Concerned about potential hiring freezes. Also anyone start a project that kicked off remotely without being on site?
Do a lot of consultants eventually found or work at startups? From what I’ve experienced and heard, they both seem like fast-paced environments full of intelligent people. But from people I’ve seen, most consultants exit to industry/mature companies. Is there a reason why more aren’t going towards startups that I’m missing?
Standard to write a thank you email after an initial screening interview or not necessary?
If you are not married or without your own family, would you move back with your parents if you have been laid off? Or would you dip into savings / unemployment to keep the lights on?
If anyone deserves to have layoffs, it’s those folks in TSA - Bunch of lazy people standing around and whiling their time chatting.
Did I screw myself by being the first person to bring up salary figures with a startup? I tried to hold firm and make sure they said ballpark range first before I said if those align with my expectations, but she gave a vague “it depends on market, but I can give you a broad range from $45k-$90k for the role.” So I responded with $70k-$80k. Should I have asked for the highest range then of $80k-$90k? Worst case scenario, I don’t want it being revoked.
Anyone know of any good black financial advisors/ wealth managers? I live in the DC area. During all this COVID-19 related stuff it feels like a good time to make sure my finances are in order.

What is your Remote work experience, Coronavirus Work-Life seems to have changed the way we work impactfully
Would love your help negotiating an offer! I’m a manager with 4.5 YOE (promoted early), interviewed with a startup for a manager role, offer came back for associate role (associate role is entry level and requires 3-5 YOE, manager requires 6-8 YOE) at a 10% pay increase with EOM start date. I’m due to fully vest AND receive a bonus from my current firm in April and have not yet brought this up to the recruiter. Should I be concerned about a title cut / how should I handle April convo? Thanks!
Suggestions on an intro book to personal finance/investing? 25 y/o with no interest in actively managing a portfolio but want to set myself up for long-term financial freedom
4 years at Accenture were stressful, left to go to Deloitte for $22k salary bump and hope for better culture, then COVID layoff happened. If I try returning to Accenture, which is the best division to try returning to (with generic consulting skills) and why? Not looking for "division spirit/pride," looking for insight into which divisions have better pay/culture/WLB/etc. (constructive replies only please, I realize I sound like a 🤡)
