Am I overreacting? My former boss texted me last night asking if I would be able to work on a landing page project over the night. For some context I left the company a month ago because I was severely underpaid and with no benefits. I’m 30 and I’ve been there for over 5 years paying for health insurance out of pocket and a 50k salary. I offered to help with a few side projects but now I feel like he’s leaning on me again and thinks because I’m so nice I’ll say yes and slave away for him anytime

CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

Would switching from S& to LEK boost, hurt, or not change exit ops to PE/ PE ops/Corp dev & strat roles? Also looking at benefits of not having independence and utilization requirements. Thanks!
