Am I qualified for a Lead Graphic Designer role? I have 7 years of experience, including 3.5 at my current company. My title is Middle-Weight Graphic Designer, but there’s no one above me in my field. My manager, the Marketing Manager, relies on me to lead the studio and manage workflows. For over a year, I’ve trained the junior designer, whom I helped scout and onboard. I also conduct reviews, approve work, and handle larger projects. Who hates being micromanaged by your boss? I had to deal with a boss who had to be involved with every little thing and it drove me nuts, and made me feel like she didn’t trust me.

2 offers:

1. Great global agency but working on a pharma account. High pay.

2. Agency that’s the butt of many jokes but working on a fun brand that they have made decent work for.
