We’ve historically done mass communication through Outlook, so this will be our first time getting insight into staff e-mail + Teams performance.

One of the biggest resume mistakes I see is focusing solely on job duties. Yes, you should include relevant responsibilities, but you should frame them in a way that highlights your skills. And include achievements wherever possible. Quantify them if you can. A good way to frame them is "Achieved X by doing Y."

So I’ve been working at the same place for 3 years and have hit a wall a while back, overworked/ underpaid, overlooked etc . I went back to for a second Bachelors in mechanical engineering but working a full time job will see it I graduate in 10yrs so now I’m starting my MBA soon. Seems like nothing I try helps. Anyone experiencing the same trying to get interviews/ job offers? I’ve been trying to get into Apple, Meta, aerospace giants for yrs. Have only had 2 interviews in 3 yrs. No help.

Just found out that my favorite aunt, who claimed I was her “favorite” niece, chose to leave all her valuables to her other two nieces who never visited or called her once in the last ten years. My aunt passed away suffering from cancer last year and didn’t have her own kids. I was there by her side throughout her battle. I still wish I had done more, made her life easier. I probably sound petty, but a part of me is forcing me to re-evaluate every interaction I ever had with her.

I lashed out emotionally at work recently as of result of a lot pent up frustration. In short I accused those around me of personally attacking me. And I am worried I will loose my job as of result.

My SO lied about the scar on his fist. I never ask about the story behind it but he initiated the conversation and said it was from the boxing club. Now it turns out that it’s the result of street fighting . It’s a small thing but I feel very uncomfortable about it. Getting over heartbreak and having a full time job is torture lol. My boyfriend and I just broke up after almost a year of being together. It was such a beautiful relationship but ultimately he just didn’t love me. I love him so much. My mind knows that I deserve reciprocal love and I’m worthy, but I feel physically ill. I find that I am much more ambitious regarding my career than my friends. I work a corporate job, have a consulting business, and I’m getting my masters degrees.
