Hi all,
I have a offer from Perficient and joining in 2 months time. Question :
1: how is the company in terms of job security and projects? I work with web analytics
2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.

About nine months until my now wife and i moved in together. We were both a little bit older - she was 30 and I was 34, and we were both looking to get serious. Some of it depends on your experience and how soon you're looking to get married.
My now husband moved in with me after about 4 months of dating but we were 27/28 y.o. and were spending almost every night together anyway. We’ve been together for 5 years now. Sometimes you just know, and we had both had our share of serious relationships. It was definitely a leap of faith but it worked out.
I will add, I thought of it as the worst case scenario being it doesn’t work out, we break up and he moves out. I felt as though I could handle that and I’d been there before (long term relationship where we lived together for a few years and broke up). Is a breakup messier when you share a space? Yes but it happens, that’s life.

Wouldn’t recommend doing it if you are not reasonably certain that you will get married. If you breakup, it’s a lot harder.

I moved in with my now husband within a year.

Awesome!
If you both feel reasonably certain that you have a long-term future together, one year is probably not too soon. Other potential factors are your ages and levels of maturity.

Wait until marriage to move in together.

Following. I broke up with someone and they moved in with some else in 5 months. So who knows

Are you going to marry her?
I met my now husband our first week of freshman year at college.
We moved in together officially about 1.5 years later but spent just about every night together from the beginning.
We’re together now 12.5 years. I knew I would marry him after about a week of knowing him so I was not hesitant at all about moving in together but I was also 18 so what did I know lol
My boyfriend asked me to move in on our first anniversary and it has been an absolute delight living together. Highly recommend it. We got really serious really soon after we started dating though and for the prior like 8 months before we officially moved in we spent 6 nights/week together so the actual move was very undramatic and came with few surprises since we already pretty much lived together. Good luck!

1 month…been together for 10 years now
Officially moved in together after 5 months… unofficially lived at his place after month 3. Been together 12 years now, and married 10. When you know, you know.

After six months as a trial run. His lease was up and he was looking to buy a house, so he lived with me while looking. We are older 33 and 34, so this was an opportunity to see if we could live together. It went well, so he’s going to live in his house for a year and then we will rent out both of our houses and buy one together.
I was originally against living together before marriage, but it ended up being really good. It showed if we were actually compatible.
Everyone is different — if you know, you know. There’s no formula or timeline. My only advice would be that you should only do it if you intend to marry. Not out of convenience, for financial reasons, or some arbitrary timeline. If you intend to marry, whenever that becomes real for you, then go for it.

6 months because we were both struggling financially.

We are still together 15 years later and have 2 kids. It worked for us, but I still wouldn't really recommend it to anyone else. It does make it harder to separate.

PWC1. Thanks. I’ve seen this happen after a rebound. Not pretty

1 year. Spend a few days in a row together to see how it would work out.
if it feels right a year is fine. just don't buy a house together for a couple more years
Chief
Don’t buy a house together until you have been married for a year tbh
Pro
D1 how long were you single before that ?
Chief
About two years
Moved in 2.5 years after dating but those 2.5 years were during undergrad, so don't quite count the same as real adult dating years haha.
