I’ve been applying for entry level SDR/BDR positions within the tech industry and even sales rep positions wth pharmaceutical companies. I have been finding it difficult so far coming from someone who has a pharmaceutical science degree and has had a lot of experience in labs and recently as a drug analyst, but with 0 experience in sales. Any advice on how I can make my applications stand out (I have emphasized transferable skills).

I just got an offer from a company that I have mixed feelings about. Team seems great but Glassdoor reviews, not so much. I’m currently interviewing with a couple of other companies that are amazing and would be my too choices. However, I’m very early in the process so it will probably take a month or so to get to the offer stage with them. I don’t want to fall between two chairs for not taking this offer and then not getting any from other companies. What should I do? Best strategy?

How should I deal with company in this scenario.

I'm a first yr attorney at an insurance firm and am in the process of interviewing for an in-house position at a tech company. The position is pretty much generalist, but I get the impression I'd be working mostly on SaaS and partnership transactions. I definitely think I would like the transactional work better, but I am concerned about the long-term earning potential vs. partnership. How common is it to eventually make $400k+ in-house/how difficult is it to transition back to a firm? Thanks!

Anyone have experience with Dept of Public Safety? Are they disorganized? Do they have a bad culture? I am starting to think they suck based on my application experience with them , compared to other state agencies.

Is it really that difficult to get hired for a federal job? I was interviewed for a GS12 job but never heard back, they still didn’t hire anyone and I didn’t get a rejection. I applied for another GS07 job, was accepted, I took it, but I believe I can do better. I have a master’s and have extra graduate research experience. I am still applying to new jobs but I was told it is impossible to move up the grade level now. Everyone is telling me to stick with the government. What are your thoughts?

Suggestions for Python courses to learn automating manipulation of data that comes in same format every day?
For context, i work with FP&A a lot. I often receive daily/weekly reports of data that i have to aggregate. Doesnt take lots of time each instance but adds up over time and Id like to use these tasks as a goal to work towards as motivation to learn code. Gone thru hours of LinkedIn courses and nothing seems applicable. Are there better courses or should i be patient & trust the process?

He treats me so well and we get along great. Yes we disagree about topics but have respectful conversations and have both become more open minded. He doesn’t think it’s an issue. Hi all. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 2 and it’s been hard to heal with the ups and downs of a very competitive sales position in the current market. Before taking FMLA for 12 weeks I was a top performer. Any advice from those that also live with bipolar disorder, or advice on a potentially a less stressful position to ease out of sales? I have 7 years healthcare sales and 1.5 years as a MLO.
