However, my CIO has been clear with me that I can’t advance in clinical informatics beyond my current role without having clinical credentials. I’m and oddity in my role in that I have a ton of clinical knowledge without a license. I have 4 Epic certs and 5 YOE.

Looking for analytics roles in healthcare that are not Excel heavy. I have SQL, PowerBI, Tableau and beginner level- Python knowledge. I am constantly trying to learn new tools and techniques and want to really challenge myself and dig deep into data. But I also really like the healthcare industry and want to stay in this space.

It's about time payers start thinking of technology as the driver of desirable outcomes rather than a privilege or 'nice to have'. Technology enables payers to play that central role in shaping the future of healthcare.
