I think our calling is not to go among the other Christians, but to go to be an awesome person among the not saved ones.

I swear, I have said nothing that a Christian would consider “preaching” etc. But somehow, I still have people coming to me, saying that I have a glow and asking if I have a religion.

I’m not saying this for my own glory, but to glorify Jesus and the calling He has for us on this earth.

Light on light does nothing. Light on darkness change the environment.

Not sure, but I like to think most normal ad agencies really need some people who possess Christian values, so it’s actually good/better to be a light in a dark place than to go somewhere where you’ll be surrounded by likeminded people. Just food for thought!

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.

Hi! So glad to find this bowl!
Today, I was looking through other bowls and see comments like: “Anyone tired of chasing money?” “Is it just me or as I get older do you realize how little awards and accolades mean?” And I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have my hope in something other than my work. I hope my coworkers see that in me, too. That I work hard but advertising is not what fulfills me.
