Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?

They have no obligation to keep you around. If you give four weeks, be sure you can comfortably go all four without working if necessary.
No - why would you think the firm needs extra time?
If unstaffed, you will likely remain unstaffed for the duration of the notice period, which can be a nice easy time.
Any benefit to a 4-week notice? (In my case would be to ensure I can pay last month's rent)
Talk through it with them, depending on your relationship with your team you can usually work something out unless you’re leaving to a competitor then all bets are off
Just wait 2 more weeks, then give a 2 weeks notice!
What happens if you go to a competitor? How would they know where you’re going?
