If anything I feel that it would be more relevant since with moe the buyer will be using stock mostly likely which will result in more dilution, which in turn would effect eps which is what investors care about. Relative contribution analysis would also be important in this case as well
Is your MD a lev fin banker who has never done a M&A?
It's relevant obviously since it's a stock deal but there are countless other important considerations around MOEs including whether they create any value...

MOE is not a special legal concept with its own analysis lol. Of course you can compare the pro forma EPS with stand-alone EPS (from either or both companies’ perspectives)
As a FIG analyst, I was thinking in terms of BV accretion/dilution. Was quite confused by the first response until I figured out we were talking EPS. Not relevant if we’re talking BV
