Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I’m doing it, I’d rather use Mac for personal use. Not as easy as PC but doable

I got a MacBook Pro. I love it. Unless you’re going into heavy financial modeling role and plan to be practicing a lot of in-depth excel use (and no, that does not include much of anything besides IB/PE - consulting “models” that reach their limits at index/matching will work fine), you’re fine with a Mac. You’ll get a work computer when you graduate anyways from your employer, so pick a laptop YOU want. Don’t skip out on a dope laptop just because you need to use a VPN to access crystal ball for one group project. Just my two cents (also competed my BBA with a MacBook and had no regrets).
Makes you look like a trend follower lol
It’s 2020. Apple is no longer a trend.
