I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Their hubris practice is booming.
@DD1: Hybris is all within DD. Other parts of SAP are in our SAP practice
Our hybris practice is strong
@DD1 - it's Deloitte digital.
There's a reason why it's named hubris.
Worked with those guys a few times and they seem competent. Not sure how much work they're selling because I never asked but leadership seems to be competent
What part of the firm OP? I think we have multiple practices that do some of this
What do you mean other consultant friends? Are you talking to people in Deloitte Digital? If you're talking to SAP people, that's not the right group and I'd expect they might talk doom and gloom.
That's what I was thinking D2, but I've spoken to some SAP core folks that are dabbling on the back end. Front end stuff is all DD to my knowledge
Yea we being in the SAP folks for hybris projects that use SAP as a back end
@D3 - actually both. The SAP fellow mentioned it's immature and usually they didn't know what they were doing. No methodology and more like fixing things on the fly once they run into issues. The DD guy mentioned some client removed hybris quickly post go live cause they didn't think it met any of their needs. My question is more around is there growth and focus or is it just one of those things started cause everyone is getting into it
@OP I know what hybris project you are talking about. The client knows hybris is better for them long term but the IT folks are old and resistant to change. Their SAP system is so customized that it was a big pain to get working with hybris.
I'm sap practice, but my project just brought a second phase of hybris live about 3 months ago. They are happy, I had a great experience with our DD brethren.
