Does Natwest bank pay as competitive as Morgan Stanley Deutsche Bank. I mean Associate in MS and DB ranges from 20 to 30 lakh. However when I tried applying to Natwest expecting 40% hike (30 lpa) on current pay of 21 lakh. They straightway rejected me and said its not in their budget. Is there any financial firm which can pay as competitive to Mumbai banks. Barclays Deutsche Bank Natwest group BlackRock

Only meet people with work that really inspires or impresses you. Have multiple, or longer conversations where you can try to really meet the person; follow-up with a cocktail or a coffee. Make sure you have a human connection with similar goals/agendas. This is about so much more than the work. Don't think of it as an interview, but as a casual conversation with a new friend - try to get as human and personal as you both feel comfortable. And be honest and transparent about the job and what you are looking for.
Be sure to read anything they wrote in their portfolios that isn’t work - bio, project descriptions. That’s the writing that is you can be almost certain is theirs. Most of the great writers I have worked with have a lot of personality in the writing on their sites.
I look more for a personality / work ethic match. At ACD their book and experience should be pretty solid. So, can this person have a conversation that you click with?
You’ll be (hopefully) communicating with them a bunch.
