JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.
Has anyone here tried the pattern app?

Quatar, the UAE, and Saudi are some of the safest places I've ever been. Virtually no crime. Need to follow local customs but that's it
BC1 you do know that Dubai is in the UAE, right??
@slalom: how is that a random layover? She's probably flying Qatar which stops there for almost all flights coming out of the US.
Lol Yes.
Yes. The airport arranges a free tour with expedited airport exit/entry without having to deal with visa/customs/etc. It's a couple hours, and just takes you around a few areas of the city. My tour wasn't till very late - like 10pm, but a nice way to pass time., even that lounge gets old ..
OP - make sure you dress appropriately, The ME is very conservative. Also, keep in mind, it will be hot outdoors so clothing should be light, loose fitting and not see through. Pre-arrange the tour. Other than that, enjoy the flight - some of the best service around and enjoy the time in Qatar. Do tell us how it goes.
No
That lounge is supah nice though, nicest I've seen and on par with The Wing in HK.
What do you mean by 'safe?' If it is in reference to make your connection, shouldn't be an issue. If it is in reference, to exploring the city, that shouldn't be an issue either.
Its safe as long as you. a)do not hug or kiss a woman in public. b)do not speak about islam in public c)do not venturebinto sketchy areas d)do not carry anything flashy on you e)dp not take photographs of things that put the country in bad light e) speak about things thar put the country in bad light f)agree that qatari sheikhs are superior than you. If you swear by all these, then it is very very safe. Trust me I lived there for 11.5 years
A1 i would add Dubai to that list
Of course it's safe. What was ever wrong with Doha?
Doha is neither Dubai nor UAE.
Check your facts before being a smartass.
There are multiple ME airlines, each with hubs in their own country/city. Qatar Airways in Doha, Emirates in Dubai, Etihad in Abu Dhabi. Turkish with their Istanbul Hub is often grouped with the ME guys (ME3+TK). And there's Royal Jordanian in Amman, but they're smaller.
Flying to Bangalore and yes on Qatar. Thanks everyone I feel a lot better about it now and thanks m2 for the link!
My friends are telling me no but google is telling me yes...that tour idea is helpful too! Thanks appreciate any opinions
Are you american?
Awesome. Yes I'm an American - 25/f. And by safe I mean to explore the city, I'm not worried at all about the airport
Yeah of course
Qatar is a bit isolated down there.
