I have added a daily routine of giving my wife of foot rub when we unwind at the end of the day, and it has been awesome for our marriage. It’s an easy way to be supportive and take care of someone who takes care of you, and it’s a great way to unwind for me because it requires just the right amount of engagement to be present. Well, I was the one who broke it off. I couldn’t get him to love me the way I needed or even respect me enough. It’s been 6 weeks of not seeing each other. We messaged this week. He doesn’t get it…. How do you integrate cardio and strength training? I do running & peloton for cardio, Solidcore (full-body Pilates) for strength training, and yoga for flexibility. But I can’t figure out an optimal way to combine them. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients).
