Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

I love not working
I’m in house as a transactional attorney at an asset manager - I moved to this gig from BL precisely so get closer to the strategic elements of deal work. I’d say it’s been great so far and I see opportunities to pivot into more of a business role going forward. You might have more access to business side deal closing at a fund / asset manager.
It’s not unusual for folks from legal move outside the dept at my company. Like moving to compliance, risk management, supplier management. They are typically more senior though.
I haven’t heard of someone going from legal to something like a ventures team, corp dev, or strategy though. While I think attorneys could be good in those roles, it would likely include a lot of catchup on the quant skills.
