Hi. I have just joined PwC India as a Sr. Analyst, from Campus. How many months/years of experience do I need before I can become an Associate?
Now I understand, it pretty much depends on my project and manager(s). Still, any good practices or suggestions to expedite the process?

Wanting to leave Life Science/ implementation work behind and do something new. I need a challenge. Okay w ops roles. Over 6 years of consulting and about 10 years total work experience.

Guilt and shame about working in a legal position for years where, instead of using my law degree (was supposed to do legal work per the job posting), I served as a personal assistant to my boss/did nothing for maybe half the time. I feel like I was paid for work I didn't do. I've since left that job but the guilt and shame remains. I feel that I lack the character of a lawyer and that I am unworthy of the profession. I don't know how to make up for the lost years or how to forgive myself.

What do when you’ve already accepted a job offer but then received a better offer? Does it look bad on you to decline the first offer?

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm.
