Associate in the NY office of a magic circle firm. Been really struggling with mental health issues for a long time - I feel like I’m begging for guidance/supervision and not getting any, and can’t get any support junior-wise either. I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.

Hi everyone! With an internal promotion to manager I am wondering if the salary raise is negotiable? I know a few managers on the team hired in at 110-120 thousand but have also heard I can expect a 5% raise or less moving up internally, which would put me around 25% below that. Hoping negotiation might be an option. Thanks for any insights!
