Just started a new job (so long PwC!) where I expect to be traveling a decent amount next year (potentially once a quarter internationally, once a month domestically). My parents act extremely needy and constantly guilt-trip me for moving out of India. They literally said that they didn't get anything in return for raising and educating us. Isn't it a parent's responsibility to raise their kids? Honestly, they lose my respect every time they do so. I understand if they need more help and support and I'm willing to provide them that, but if they expect me to live with them 24x7, I just can't do that. I've always wanted to live on my own and away from them.
