So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I don't know if this is a recent change but I’m seeing postings for junior copywriter/community manager roles. Have these roles always been attached or posted at a junior level? Is this merged role worth considering as someone young in the industry with more traditional intern and freelance copy experience.

Taking my shot in tech sales. Consulting was great experience but enjoyed the relationship and BD aspect more and didn’t see myself climbing to partner. Starting in a junior BD Rep role to learn prospecting and earn quota history. Took a big paycut for the potential future earnings as an Account Exec. Did I dun goof? Probably. But I’ll regret it forever if I didn’t take my chance now when I’m still single and young-ish.

Hi! I’m a young professional with less than 2 years experience, started a new job 1.5 months ago. I’m having quite some difficulties on balancing out my response time to tasks. While I act incredibly fast if not immediately with some, I sometimes take 1-2 weeks with couple of hours worthy ones. Does anyone else feel like instead of reviewing all the increased work we’ve been doing and releveling accordingly, the firm is just rewriting our current job scope to include the increased work?

I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.
