On a team of all men, all of whom have PhDs. The level of micromanaging is getting unreal especially because I've worked with this client for 3 years and know more about the project. Anyone have advice for condescending team members? Technically I am the team lead but their levels range
Should I be worried if I have constantly bounced from short project to project (excellent performance) and don't really see myself with a single tangible/transferable skill? I'm 1.5 yrs in & 24.
I've recently been struggling to figure out what job is next and what I want to do with my career. I have 4.5 yoe, 3.5 years at PwC within tax/tax technology and 1 year within IT transformation, Agile/Change and Implementation work. I don't have many hard skills except for things like excel, PowerPoint, alteryx/tableau/powerbi, and struggling to find something that I want to do. I feel kind of stuck on current project and feel like I'm underpaid. Any advice or guidance on how to figure it out?

I am so lost. Feeling stuck in a role I don’t enjoy, yet no idea what I actually want to do. I know I don’t want to keep chasing the next “job.” Help.
While discussing a possible new role with a mentor. He recommends I expand my specialty and get some functional experience. What does this mean? Or what type of work should I look for?
How do you handle it when you hate your project (poorly run, ridiculous requests, understaffed, long hours, weekend work) - how does you maintain energy and not just burn out?
Who wants to donate Delta SkyMiles to the "I work in Fed MC so I hardly travel and barely have any miles but I'm trying to take my wife to mexico" fund? Cool thanks everyone!
Does anyone know how 'case studies' are like for data science interviews (industry, not consulting)?
I’ve heard a lot that partners go “off-script” in MBB final round interviews. What does this mean in terms of how the interview goes and how can I best prepare for that?
Hi fellow EA fish 🐟🐠🐡 I’m hoping to make comp comparisons between MBB and the Big 4 since Glassdoor and other websites aren’t that accurate. Please feel free to DM!
Would it be feasible to get into Duke or Cornell’s full time program with these stats 3.4 undergrad gpa from a top 20 liberal arts college 710 GMAT 2.5 years experience in Big 4 Advisory/consulting
Recently accepted an offer to be a copywriter intern this summer! 😁 It’s a goal I’ve been working toward for the past two years. Super excited, it’s a small shop with great talent who have worked at some incredible places. Was wondering if anyone had advice on how I can make the most of this experience and hopefully get signed on full time afterwards? Or how I can leverage the internship to find a Jr. role elsewhere?
Groomed and rode my lesson horse today. What a beautiful end to a busy day. Sleep well everyone ❤️
Why can’t I view the Cost Basis for 401k retirement account? Doesn’t make sense why it’s not an option like it is for brokerage accounts
Have anyone done contracting negotiations before? I've interviewed for co A & B and co A extended an offer today. The offer does not meet my current salary. Co B's interview structure is 3 rounds and I've finished my 2nd round today. The recruiter mentioned that since I am a contractor my current salary is incomparable as they will provide benefits, etc. Is this true? I have 2 yrs of contracting HR exp from fortunate 500 co’s & OMW to get my SHRM-CP. Appreciate your advice in advance.
Does anyone know what PwC's health benefits are like? I am onboarding and the packet just says it covers up to 75% of a gym membership or something like that. I'll be in the NYC office too if that affects anything
First week WFH in a long time. Kids are home so thought I’d go to the office for minimal distractions...nope: (cont.)
Just got an offer to work someplace else. Pay, PTO, medical and 401k seem good. What else could I try to negotiate?
