When I rented in NYC the in unit stack option always seems to be from Bosch
Do you have water and drain there?
23” W will be the issue; is that door width or the closet itself?
Bosch, electrolux, samsung, and miele all make ~24” wide stackable pairs but you’ll have to get the exact clearance info one by one…

Yep, the water and drains were set up already.
True it’s difficult to find the right size unit, the 23W is for the closet itself.
My current units are GE compact that fits the closet almost down to the last inch~~~ the last resort is to buy the same unit again.
How much room do you gain if you remove the trim/door jamb to get the unit in?
The bosch specs are 23.5”W x 24.5 D … so really comes down to fractions for you here; current GE suggests 23 7/16ths - so very very slightly narrower.
You probably need to check exact model you have for that spec, measure precisely and see if you can squeeze.0625 more…
We have Electrolux units stacked in a closet and they’re great.
