I’m 27Y and work in tech. Unfortunately my carpal tunnel is getting worst slowly. I’m worry that I still have like 45 years more to be retired and can’t stop working because I have a f* mortgage to pay 😭 I have a super ergonomic workstation, but I know my hand needs a long rest, and I can’t do it… Does anyone relate? What do you recommend?

Anyone have a good office chair recommendation? Really not trying to spend more than $150 but willing to go to $200 if there is a really good recommendation.

First year in consulting, is it worth purchasing a car this early? I’m living at home and about a 45 minute car ride away from my home office. Any suggestions? What have you done?

Joining a big firm next week as fully remote lateral and flying out to home office for orientation. The schedule has me in office until 4:15. I’ve already been told I won’t have any actual work. Depending on how many people are there and how it feels, I was planning to stay an hour extra but should I hang around the office until later? First time visiting this city so it’d be great to take in some sights too (although that’s not a priority of course).

Hi everyone! Does anyone have suggestions on a good standing desk or ergonomic chair?

In an attempt to be healthier, I built a permanent standing desk. Now, once every couple hours my Apple Watch reminds me “it’s time to stand up” and I feel superior to all those chair sitters out there.

Working on a regular desk and my laptop has been killing my back and neck for last few years. Finally spent a couple hundred dollars on a standing desk, wireless keyboard, and back/neck heating pad to alleviate the pain. Very hopeful working will be much better now.

My back hurts so I’ve been laying on the floor looking at Fishbowl all day instead of doing my job.

Anyone have any good office chair recos for sedentary potatoes that wfh?

I have had three rounds of interview in TCS and in iBegin it's showing as evaluation in progress. Last delivery partner interview was on 25th January.
