Agency recruitment managers! How do y’all set goals for your department? Do you focus on outreach goals, applicant goals, purely hiring goals no matter the outreach numbers, conversion rates, etc? Asking because I manage two recruiters working with different clients and both work with different styles, so outreach messages for one might not make sense for the other. Hello! I’m a Talent Acquisition Manager at a 300 FTE sized gov contractor with 2 recruiters under me. One of my recruiters and I are both having babies in August and will be out for 12 weeks. She’s only coming back part time. My leadership already said no to hiring another full time recruiter. Has anyone had any good experience with contract recruiters? Or any advice for a short term solution?

Since I pivoted into TA (from the Wild West known as Finance) Tech Recruiting has always been the goal. But I’m having a hard time finding a way to get into that space (I do understand there’s a hiring crisis). Nevertheless, does anyone know of tech companies that are hiring? Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.

I know it’s 2022, but I’m positive my company is not the only one in the Tech space w/o a hybrid or remote option.
