They are all supeeeeeeeer different.
Singapore is a closer scene to the “western countries” recruitment.
China is hectic with the privacy law in place and 0 flexibility around LinkedIn headhunt. You get a token that expires in 24 hours to contact a candidate.
Japan is agency driven culture (ie. Even if you found someone on LinkedIn, they’ll go connect with their agency. And the agency will come to you)
Korea is a bit more LinkedIn driven.
Singapore and Philippines are super similar with the “westernized” culture similarities in recruitment.
Look for specific job boards based on location and job reqs. These can be helpful to find high level talent in the targeted areas you listed with an extra layer of quality assurance. Onlinejobs.ph for example is targeted just for PH. There may be similar sites for the geolocations you listed. LI is useful finding talent in Singapore.
Do you have access to Lightcast (previously EMSI) this would be a great use of the tool to understand the landscape and where competition are posting and much more.
