Any tips for a mileage run for American Airlines status? By my calculations, I might need around 10K apart from my business travel before the end of this year?

Look for first class SEA-MIA - 12k miles. Really would help if you could tell us your home base.

You can get to a lot of places in western Europe for $615-650 from LAX, departing Friday returning Sunday. Slightly cheaper from NYC, but might not get you the mileage needed.

Yeah, opposite coast in biz is around 10k miles and ~750$

Parroting AA1. This question is pointless without your home city.

Houston

When I was last flying AA in 2011, I remember you had to avoid the QSONG fare classes as those earned half the qualifying points / miles needed for status. Not sure if that's still the case ...

M1, yes, cannot book discount biz or first class.

PHEV (specifically, RAV4 Prime) yay/nay?

Expected use case:
Family car
Low mileage (<10-11k / yr)
4-5 days a week expecting less 30 miles per day
Weekends 100-200 miles altogether (occasionally)
Rare road trip use (1x or 2x / yr; <300 miles one way)
Have garage (to charge at home)

Chief Concern: "Best of both worlds" in engineering can mean compromises and complications, which can mean non-resilient/unreliable. But I'm no gearhead, so not sure if I'm making massive incorrect assumptions.

I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
