1) Water to loosen the soil.
2) Remove the pot gently. If this is difficult, use a knife around the edge of the pot.
3) Pour enough dirt in the bottom of the new pot so that the root ball is a few inches below the top.
4) Place plant in pot and add dirt around the sides.
5) Water and more dirt if needed.
A little advice - Make sure the new pot is only slightly larger than the old one. Yuccas do better when root bound. Also, do not fertilize it for at least a month so it can adjust to the new pot.
I didn't know the planter only had to be slightly larger. I wonder if that's what killed my last yucca ...
I tried all the things last with my last yucca and it still died any tips are highly appreciated
