Does anyone know what’s going on with my philodendron? I’ve had this plant for years and just recently got it to start producing new leaves again and all the new ones have these lighter spots, but all the old growth is just a solid dark green like the leaf in the background. Good thing, bad thing, or just a thing that happens? Anyone have some insight?

Why is it so difficult to make the next career move within your OWN company. I have over 7 years of experience across multiple departments and yet an external company is more willing to give an interview to select roles than your own home company for the same role internally!!

My firm was recently acquired and compensation is unchanged. For context, I’m at the engagement manager level with the organization that was acquired, and with the NewCo, the coverage and responsibility is likely increasing. In this future state I’d effectively be managing more engagements.

Would you: (1) accept X’s offer now but rescind later if Y converts (2) ask X for additional time to decide (they’re “prestigious” and may not offer additional time...)
