Any tips on how to land a Junior Admin role? I have an admin cert and 2 years of Salesforce experience essentially as a power user (pulling reports, building dashboards, some custom fields)

From the sounds of it, you just need to workshop your resume and work with a recruiter if you've been striking out. You have a solid base for the type of role you're seeking.

Also, develop a portfolio of reports dashboards to show in interviews. Trailhead has a good trail, Salesforce portfolio.
Also, a few good lead in sentences in showing said portfolios from the link below..( I am not the poster, just passing along outstanding example I saw over the weekend) ..

Slalom has Salesforce academies that run 3-4x a year. They bring you in and train you for 1-2 months on Salesforce and consulting before you start your first project as a junior admin or junior dev.

Your experience would make you a competitive applicant.

Might be worth keeping an eye out for the next job posting or pinging a recruiter on LinkedIn if that's something you'd be interested in

Make a list of top employers you want to work for and connect with people in the role you want. Also search LinkedIn using hashtags like #hiring Salesforce consultant. When I started doing this I found a lot of potential companies that didn't use the LinkedIn job board but were hiring. Also, make sure you update LinkedIn with all of your Salesforce skills and work

Anybody go from cyber consulting (assessment based/cyber maturity/incident response plan) to a more technical role? I really want to make this move but not sure if it’s possible without cutting my salary down significantly. I am an entry level nuclear engineer at an established nucl co. (been w them for 1.5y) and feel like I’m being underpaid for my role (73k/y). I was just contacted about interviewing for an entry level technician role at a different co., which compared to an engineer would be a step down imo. However, this role pays over 5k what I’m currently making (~79k/y). Do I ask for a raise to match this or consider the other role? Or Is there a different solution here?
