Oh I'm the same and I'm trying to figure out a way out haha...I mean it kinda depends. If I have the time, I do admin on Friday and sort things and try to organize. I'm pretty Outlook has some kind of workflow set up so that certain emails can go into certain folders, which is something I'm planning on doing - esp with client comms and sign offs
Ah ok, so I do not put anything in a folder unless it's documentation about something related to an account that I would need to reference later. I go down the list and anything that can be responded to immediately I respond and then archive. If it's my responsibility for it to be followed through, even if the other people drop the ball I scribble the responsiblity/task down in a notebook next to me that I peek at at the end of the night to make sure I didn't completely forget about that item. Also anything you haven't looked at in detail yet make sure it's starred, and then anything that probably won't involve a lot of comprehension but isn't a priority leave unread. Anything that doesn't need action, and in which you can just skim information or don't need at all, open and look and then archive. Hope that helps1
You’re a legend thank you very much 🫶🏾
