Has any firm done anything in the way of extensive EA training/networking within their NA offices via a program retreat? I'm guessing it's a hard sell, but it seems it would be beneficial. Anyone?

My question is: should I be honest about why I’m looking for a new job? Is it wrong to not share this info during my interviews? Is this situation going to affect my interview process somehow? Hi so I need help. I currently work to bring clients into the company i work at for web design, social media management, and brand strategy. I also do this as feeelance on the side, so where do I draw the line between who I refer to the company I work for or who I personally do freelance for? I don’t want to short out the company I work for but also love freelance and am more than capable of the work.

Am I understanding utilization rate correctly? It’s chargeable time over total time? Charged 40 hours and had 10 hours non-charge so my utilization is 80%? If so, wouldn’t it benefit me to understate non-charge hours so my utilization is higher since they only really care about chargeable time anyways? Charge 40 hours still but only put 5 hours non-charge for utilization to be 89% instead of 80%? Or am I misunderstanding how utilization works?

I applied for a Executive Staff Assistant for Kaiser. The range for this position is from $36-42/hr. I’ve been doing Health Admin for 10yrs starting as AD in the AF. I’m also in a Master Program for HCA. Advice on if this is low in CA.

manager assistants are 100 percent remote while executive assistant roles are expected to be mapped to a local office. MAs support six senior managers or associate partners while EAs support 3 partners. MAs should have 1-3 years experience to apply and EAs should have 3-5 or more.

Any tips on how to quantify work as an EA? I’m having trouble with this part but I’ve heard it’s necessary. Also what would be considered a KPI for an EA? That’s not something we tracked at my last job. TIA!

Need some feedback! So I was forced to move jobs about 6 months ago due to reorg and the new leader opting to bring their existing EA with them, without even meeting me. If stayed at the company but accepted an offer for a job outside of the department I was in. I’ve now been asked by a manager from my old department to apply for a job they’re opening that would be a 2 step promotion. She thought she got my managers permission to approach me (see comments)
