Any Update On Hike ? In Today's Meeting Globant India Pvt. Ltd. ?

Hi guys, I am a CFA & FRM holder passed out of tier I b school. I have 8+ years of experience in equity research & project financing roles. I'm taking a break & would like to work on hourly basis as a consultant (part time) for some months due to personal commitments. Please let me know in case any of you guys can offer me anything!

I currently work as a 2L for a small firm that pays below the average rate for law student clerks. I’m grateful they even pay me what they do. However, I’d love sound advice for asking for a raise.

I am a new associate currently watching a named partner “quiet fire” but not so quiet a paralegal. He has been really nasty to her, demoralizing, degrading and any other word that fits. And I’m struggling to not speak up because I feel so conflicted. I don’t want to make things worse for her but do want him to know I see how he’s treating her.

I’m already trying to leave but the market isn’t the best. But I struggle still working at the firm after seeing this. (Below)

Came back to school in August with a cruise ship still sitting on my stage. We walked away from Anything Goes the day after the sitzprobe because of the quarantine. Still taking the wind out of my sails.

We are here now, but not able to stage shows. Logic says, "Do a radio show!" Just not sure I want to subject the kids to the emptiness of that performance style given the Zoom life they've been living. The production of it could be fun though.

Does Globant terminates the employment of certain trainees after their probation(3 Months) based on their performance in the training period? Some of the fresher trainees were laid off this morning without giving a notice or reason.

We were told that the probation period is a training period & not an elimination one. It was shocking as a few of those trainees were actually good.

I joined Globant in August End as SD in UI studio..but I m still waiting for project... Is it for everyone 😭
